Photography
Every Andrew Wurster photograph starts out as an imagined line drawing. Andrew discovered a love for photography in its own right, rather than simply a means of study for painting or drawing, while in Europe in 2003. Since that time he has left paint and pencils behind and is rarely seen without a camera, but the influence of his training can be seen in his striking compositions.
With a focus on urban life and architecture, and a growing interest in portraiture and landscape, Andrew captures the changing world around him with a strong grounding in the principals of design.
Biography
Andrew Wurster was born in Chicago and grew up with one foot in the USA and one in Australia, where his family moved for a time during his teens. Simultaneously native and alien on two continents, it’s no surprise that Andrew seeks to isolate the unique aesthetic and personality of his surroundings, wherever he finds himself in the world.
Andrew is now settled in Melbourne, Australia, where he lives with his wife and daughter.
I’d like to thank Sarah Dollard for writing this.
Sarah turned the chaotic mess of words in my head into a very respectable sounding Bio. Thanks X

Chicago, I loved it! And what a nice choice of a city Melbourne, outside Europe
I’m biased! Keep up the good working. I do have a passion for photography, but I just have not been too constant. I should learn properly. For now I’m taking pics with automatic cameras…but love the world of image.
